The data published by the management of Joint Admission and matriculation Board through the registrar shown that Oyo state, Osun state and Ogun state has the highest applicants meanwhile Zamfara state, FCT and Sokoto state had the least applicants in the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The examination body registered a total of over 1.3 Million candidates registered for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) while 1,338,687 candidates sat for the examination which was held in June, 2021.
